The eSIM connects to Mascom, Orange, Airtel and Etisalat. Your phone selects whichever of those is strongest wherever you are standing, in the same way roaming does — there is no network to choose and nothing to switch by hand. Speeds are 3G/4G/5G where the network supports it.
Validity starts the first time the eSIM connects to a network abroad, not when it is bought, so it can be installed at home days before departure without spending any of the 7 days. Tethering and personal hotspot are permitted.
Traffic on this plan exits in UK/NO, so websites and apps see one of those countries rather than Africa · 29 countries. This occasionally matters for banking apps and streaming catalogues, and it is stated here rather than discovered later.
Delivery is immediate and by email: a QR code and step-by-step instructions for the specific phone, usually within a minute of payment. The plan does not renew and cannot bill again — when the data or the 7 days run out it simply stops, and more data can be added to the same eSIM without reinstalling it.
Requires an eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone — iPhone XS or newer, Google Pixel 3 or newer, most Samsung Galaxy S20 or newer. An eSIM profile can be installed one time only: deleting it, resetting the phone or erasing all content destroys the plan permanently.

Install once — deleting it destroys the plan
